OnlyOneOf’s Toronto show felt less like a performance and more like being pulled into a weirdly warm bubble with people who didn’t seem in a rush to do anything except vibe with everyone there. The songs happened, yeah, but so did a lot of talking. The band would often stop in between songs to chat with the crowd, but no one seemed to mind.

The fans, though? Wild. Like, so loud. The second a member even breathed near the edge of the stage, people were screaming like their souls were leaving their bodies. The fans next to me were yelling full sentences at full volume and somehow had the lung power to keep going the whole night. It was a lot. But honestly? That energy matched the show. The room felt alive the entire time, even in the quiet moments.

There was a super sweet moment where they played a birthday video created by fans for Mill. He looked a little surprised watching it, but you could tell he loved it. All the members watched with warm, amused smiles while fans dropped their messages – just quietly laughing and taking it all in.

They also took signs and pride flags from the crowd during the breaks, which they held or waved around while talking. It wasn’t some big, dramatic move – they just did it casually, like it was obvious they’d want to. That small gesture hit harder than any speech would’ve.

The actual performances? Solid. Sharp moves, great vocals, and a stellar performance over all. But it was the randomness, the softness, and the constant back-and-forth with the fans that made the night feel different. Not perfect, not scripted, just real. And somehow, that made it way better.
