Molly Grace has always been a force to be reckoned with, but she did not rise to fame until a clip of her song “F.E.M.M.E” went viral with over 3.1 million views on TikTok. Molly’s aesthetic takes inspiration from the 1999 comedy But I’m A Cheerleader, as seen with her hot pink dresses and white long sleeve gloves. The cover art for “F.E.M.M.E” even features a pair of red pom-poms.
Molly Grace followed up this success with her latest single “Mad At Her Forever” released on March 7, 2025. In the music video, Molly Grace can be seen wearing an outfit collaborative of two pink pop culture icons: Regina George and Elle Woods. She has large pink curlers in her hair paired with feathers and a pair of pumps. She is wearing a long pink robe talking on a vintage telephone and to herself in a mirror.
In this song, Molly Grace tells the story of a previous sapphic relationship that ended on subpar terms. She did not receive much explanation from the other woman and despite this, she still has some sort of feelings for her she wants to pursue – even if those feelings are bred out of selfishness.
Too long since it’s been over
Fighting my way to closure
I'm getting sick of being lonely and I
I got a feeling where she might be tonight
Dressed to kill my resistance
The way she’s moving
Got me forgetting why
I should know better
I should know better, but
I can’t stay mad at her forever
Molly Grace gives into her impulses and decides that she is going to entertain these thoughts against her smarter will, while further describing the audacity of the other woman to pretend like they do not have history with one another that ended badly because of her actions.
What's a lady to do
I can’t think straight
When I’m thinking of you
You know I love a guilty pleasure
I can’t stay mad at her forever
She calls me baby and it’s like we just met
Teasing and flirting and dancing
Like a bitch never left
She says I’m funny
And it goes to my head
I should know better
What's a lady to do
I lost you once
Why not gamble on two
If it’s fated, we’ll be together
I can’t stay mad at her forever.
Although stereotypical, Molly Grace describes her experience with a common trope among real-life and fictional sapphic figures; however, almost everyone regardless of identity can think of a time were they were so entranced by an ex-lover they chose to disregard the mess and get themselves into an even stickier situation out of sheer boredom and desire to be that close with another person.
Molly Grace is on her “But I’m A Popstar” tour along the east coast with upcoming dates in Allentown, Portsmouth, Burlington, Amherst, Red Bank, and Chestertown. She is also supporting Nightly in her hometown of Nashville with Jonah Marais on May 30. You can find a complete list of stops here.
