070 Shake delivered a mesmerizing performance at The Fillmore, Philadelphia last week, captivating the crowd with her genre-blending sound and raw energy.
Her set started behind a beige curtain, with only her shadow visible thanks to the moody, atmospheric lighting. Opening with “Sin,” the first song from her latest album Petrichor, she immediately set the tone for the night: a balance of ethereal melodies and pulsating beats that kept the crowd entranced and jumping along.

The setlist was carefully curated, made up mainly of songs from Petrichor, but also a pleasant mix of fan favorites and older material. Though understated, her stage presence commanded attention as she danced around the stage, only slowing down to drink a glass of wine and talk with the audience. In fact, her deep appreciation for fans was on full display, stopping her set at one point to sing happy birthday to two fans. She also shouted out some of her younger fans at the show, even recognizing one who had been attending her shows since she was 8 years old. She also hopped down from the stage during her encore, hugging and singing with fans.

Songs like “Guilty Conscience” were crowd favorites, the audience singing along to every word, while moments of introspection in songs like “Blue Velvet” showcased a more introspective side to the artist.

Earlier in the night, Jonah Lenox and Bryant Barnes the mood. With a performance that demanded attention, Barnes infused the room with rhythm, sending the crowd into a collective sway. His grooves felt like a heartbeat pushing the night forward, calming an eager crowd.
